Fairlyne, the ticket resale startup, continues its expansion into new travel markets, aiming to enhance customer experiences across various platforms. Originally focused on the railway sector with the success of Ouigoswap, a platform for reselling OUIGO train tickets, Fairlyne, founded in 2021 by three former Accor executives, is now extending its services to airlines and hotels.
Founded by former Accor executives in 2021, the startup aims to address the challenge of non-refundable tickets. Differentiating itself from traditional platforms, Fairlyne allows partnering companies to retain control throughout the resale process. The startup’s collaboration with Royal Air Maroc marks its entry into the airline sector, with plans to launch within six months. Fairlyne envisions reshaping the travel industry by introducing resale marketplaces, inspired by successful models in retail and fashion, extending its ambition to the hospitality sector and potential future partnerships with ferry companies.
